Service Enhancements
Welcome to our latest service update for July. The team has been busy working on a number of improvements and we’d like to share our progress with you today.
The Tank Storage plans that were temporarily removed from sale earlier this month will be making a return real soon. We’ve been listening to what you want, and we think you’ll be pleased with what we have come up with. As always, the changes will not impact customers on existing Tank Storage plans.
We’re still offering free Minecraft game server hosting for three months while we complete our testing. In the coming days we’ll be adding more games, starting with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. If you’re interested in Minecraft or Counter-Strike and want to play with friends, give our plans a go. We don’t even ask for your payment card details, so there’s no risk! We have created a new Service Status site at https://status.ultra.cc/. Improvements will be ongoing.
Our public tracker stop script has been enhanced to be more robust and to reduce the chances of an IP ban if the script fails for whatever reason. The script stops torrents from public trackers as soon as the download reaches 100%. This is to limit the chances of your upload quota being exhausted while you sleep! You always have the option to switch this script off if you want to seed public tracker torrents.
