I’d like to request that Scryer be added as a supported application on Ultra.cc.
Scryer is a self‑hosted media management application for movies, TV series, and anime. It consolidates the functionality of multiple *arr tools into a single, efficient Rust‑compiled binary, while also providing significantly better anime support than the Servarr stack.
Monitors libraries and tracked titles
Searches indexers for releases
Evaluates releases against quality and rules policies
Coordinates downloads and imports
Organizes media files for servers
Manages subtitles (including time alignment)
Provides deep multilingual support
Offers media discovery based on trends and existing libraries
Handles anime with proper season/episode logic, multi‑season packs, and filler/canon identification
Conceptually, it’s “Sonarr + Radarr + Seerr + Bazarr + extra functionality” — but implemented as a single, fast, machine‑code Rust binary with no affiliation to Servarr.
Single Rust binary
Embedded web UI
GraphQL API
SQLite-backed application state
Plugin runtime for indexers, download clients, subtitle providers, and notifications
Docker (first‑party images: ghcr.io/scryer-media/scryer)
Windows (MSI installer recommended)
Unraid (first‑party community app)
GitHub: https://github.com/scryer-media/scryer
Scryer is actively developed, well‑documented, and already widely adopted in the self‑hosted community. Adding it to the Ultra.cc app catalog would give users a modern, unified alternative to the traditional *arr ecosystem.
