Defaulter lets you “Change the default audio and subtitle streams for items in Plex per user based on codec, language, keywords and more. Customizable with filters and groups. Can run on a schedule or for newly added items using a Tautulli webhook.”

Seems to have several use cases I can think of, my personal reason for use is for users without access to a setup to play lossless audio like TrueHD and will automatically select the compatibility track for these users.
