[Bug Report] Plex invalid certificate
Plex addresses are showing invalid certificate. The address is usually "lwXXX-direct.usbx.me" but the certificate is for "lwXXX.usbx.me". Invalid certificates gives us error on some TVs when setting up plex.

It's a too-old post and should be resolved by now. However, if you wish to connect to your PMS from a remote device, you can use our unofficial script via SSH to know the SSL URL and Port of your instance to connect.

My TV needs the Plex IP address, not a url. It keeps disconnecting me from plex because of certificate errors.

This is not a bug.
"lwXXX-direct.usbx.me" is only needed to setup the server for the first time. It shouldn't be how you access it normally.

It’s not really a bug. It’s how Plex is set up. It has some special certificate setups.
Most of the time, just either accept the warning, or more simple, use plex’s apps/urls. Ultra does a great job setting up Plex to work out of the box with http://app.Plex.tv
