I’d like to suggest adding BTFS (BitTorrent File System) as a supported app on your seedbox platform.
Why BTFS?
•
Lightweight & Easy to Run: BTFS is built on the BitTorrent protocol, so it’s efficient and doesn’t require heavy resources compared to traditional distributed storage solutions.
•
Minimal Requirements: A seedbox already has what BTFS needs – basic Linux environment, networking, and disk storage. It doesn’t need databases, heavy runtimes, or extra dependencies.
•
Perfect Fit: Since seedboxes are already optimized for high bandwidth and uptime, they make ideal BTFS nodes, strengthening the decentralized storage network while giving users more flexibility with their storage.
What it doesn’t need:
•
No constant database writes (like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.).
•
No GPU or high-end compute.
•
No complex setup—just the BTFS daemon and simple config.

Adding BTFS would not only give users more utility from their seedboxes, but also help grow the decentralized storage ecosystem.
