    Hi there,

Due to recent changes in Kavita 0.8.9.1 we have been forced to version lock Kavita to version 0.8.8 while we make the newer version compatible with our installer.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

The version lock has been removed since January 27, 2026 and you should now be able to upgrade to version 0.8.9.1
