OpenAI provides a docker image for Whisper language AI model to serve as a Bazarr subtitle provider.

For all users using Bazarr I think this would be great addition as quality and availability of subtitles is getting ore and more problematic in recent years.

Implementing Whisper AI may serve as only subtitle provider due to its accuracy and reduce reliance on external providers and also reduce strain on provider API as well.

    After careful consideration, we have decided to not support this application at this point in time. There are many reasons for why we have taken this decision, but limitations in port allocation is the major deciding factor. Thank you for your contribution.

      Would providing one central instance for multiple users be an option?
      Seeing that Whisper is mostly stateless?

        I’m afraid that we do not offer centralized services in such a way.
