Shadowsocks is a free and open-source encryption protocol project, widely used in China to circumvent Internet censorship. It would be nice to have it in addition of OpenVPN and Wireguard.
This has also become pretty important to me. I have started looking for other seedbox providers that allow this to be ran/configure it for me, but would love to stay with Ultra.
Most public places do packet inspection now to block certain websites. That most of the time blocks my access to Jellyfin, and having Shadowsocks circumvents the issue.
If you all do decide to implement this, please have a solution that can use the chacha20-ietf-poly1305 method as it gets around most inspection when I was using it.
