Shared database for Ombi

Ombi becomes quite slow when the database is hosted locally on mechanical hdd, and especially when there is activity on this hard drive, either by me or someone else.

Thus i figured it would come in handy with a dedicated server with nvme disks for the databases i.e Ombi.

All users get a personal read write to the database just like a /home/user would work.

And a lot of the I/O and pain could be mitigated from the user experience.

Just a thought.

Many of the applications customers install use databases. It would be impractical to separate all of the databases onto a separate NVMe volume, I’m afraid.

An approach that some customers take is to have database-intensive applications on a BOLT plan and the storage-hungry applications on a Tank or Vault plan.

You expect people to pay double up? That’s a poor service for sure.

      Thanks for your reply though.
