I get the sense, from previous replies from administrators, that people think the main use of this is broadcasting channels to other people, and I think that’s a mistaken assumption. My media server is just for my family, across 5 households and 7 people in total. The main people who will use this to start, are literally my sister and I - the main users of our Plex server.

We’ve both seen every QI episode way too many times, because it’s an easy thing throw on when we don’t want to pay that much attention to the TV. But watching them in order is finally starting to get tedious. Same with Big Fat Quiz Of the Year/Decade/etc.. We could load up an enormous Playlist or Collection of all these show’s episodes, and tell it to play in randomize mode, but that’s something we’ll ultimately have to re-setup and launch every time we want to use it - meaning it’s not really going to even come close to avoiding repeats properly - and that is frustrating when I just want something to fall back asleep to, when some pain woke me up at 4am. We’ve talked for some time now about how great it would be, to create a channel that just runs through our major “throw on the TV” shows - without having to watch them in order or having to choose one specific show to watch. My nephew has similarly requested a Power Rangers channel that loads his favorite seasons and which would bounce him around in the episodes all day, like when he’s home sick from school.

I can’t speak to everyone else’s use cases, but for us, this is one of the coolest Arr projects we’ve wanted to launch since we first started automating our media server. There are days I want to find exactly what show or movie I want to watch, and there are days when I want to throw a TV channel on while I clean house - only I no longer have cable or any antennae. All I have is a few key streaming tools and our family media server. So, I hope Tunarr is something that is being explored with an open mind to how normal personal users will appreciate access to such tools.
