Hello @vargI went back to using Transmission a couple weeks ago, after facing some issues with qbittorrent 5.0.1 beta. I was wondering if Ultra.cc would consider bumping the stable version to 4.0.6, as it's already there for around seven months and in use by a fair amount of peers. Thank you, in advance.

We are constantly monitoring new torrent client versions. Whenever there is a new release with significant changes, it will be considered. However, at this point in time, there are no plans to update Transmission as we have other prioritizes. Also, the amount of votes will highly influence our decision making on what to update or improve on our service.

To upgrade Transmission from v3 to v4, you need to uninstall and re-install it from the UCP while choosing v4. Detailed instructions can be found here.

thanks! v3 didn’t support webseeds which are necessary for The Internet Archive. (rutorrent/rtorrent doesn’t support webseeds either)
