When trying to use the native python accessible from our boxes, it shows version 3.7. This version is unsupported as of today, and an upgrade might be beneficial for users :)
varg - thanks. i often use a tool in SSH that needs python 3.8 and it works fine. - python 3.9 also works fine. ☺

We encourage our users to install pyenv, which allows multiple versions of Python to be installed in their user space. See our Install Python Using Pyenv guide for more information.
