Service Enhancements
Welcome to the Service Announcement for July 2026.
Do you have an application you'd like us to offer? Do you have ideas on how we can enhance our service? Share your thoughts at feedback.ultra.cc. We value your suggestions and votes on what you'd like to see on Ultra.cc.
As previously announced, we have rolled out a UCP password expiry policy that requires your password to be changed every 180 days. This policy only affects your UCP account, and no other passwords. To disable this policy, simply enable 2FA on your UCP account.
Our full public documentation library have been refreshed to ensure it is up to date and accurate. Feel free to submit further improvements via our feedback site. Or you can submit your own guide via our Community Docs Form.
Jellyseer and Overseerr are deprecated and removed from the UCP. Any existing installations will remain functional, but the app will no longer be supported and receive updates. As a replacement, we recommend Seerr.
Due to upstream changes and a requirement of Node 22+ we temporarily locked TheLounge to version 4.4.3. This version lock has now been removed and version 4.5.2 is available for installation.

Byparr and Komga moved out of Beta phase, and are now considered stable
Nextcloud v32 and v33 now supported
UCP - Checkbox added to skip backup during upgrade. This feature should resolve an issue where certain apps failed to upgrade due to the process timing out. If you use this feature, please ensure to manually backup your instance before proceeding with the upgrade.
UCP - Login and password reset pages have been redesigned
UCP - Password expiry policy. More information found in #ucc-news
Emby version upgrade is now automated to allow for quicker access to new versions.
Fixes:
Komga ODPS feed fixed to use HTTPS instead of HTTP
Deluge webUI 502 now spawns with correct interface
Pyenv fixed to build local OpenSSL 3
All clients are welcome to test these new features, but we do not offer formal support. Only install if you are prepared to accept some errors and instability. Unofficial support is available only in #beta-support. Beta features may be removed without notice if serious issues are identified.
Mass-upgrade of all nodes to Debian 12
Access to application backup from UCP
We hope that you find this update helpful.
Thank you for remaining a loyal client.
